Meals from the Market is an exciting event at Field of Greens that gives families an opportunity to connect with local organic farmers. During the festival from 11am-12:30pm, farmers and culinary students from the Slow Food Convivium at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts will be serving dishes featuring fall vegetables found at area farmers markets. Talk to the farmer who grew the produce, and meet the student who prepared it. Learn how to grow and prepare it at home! The family-friendly individual dishes are sure to please both kids and parents. Take home recipe cards with information about the farmer and markets where they sell their produce every week.
